INFORMATION ABOUT DSE MEMBERSHIP AND SELECTION IN 2012

The IDSF AGM took place in June. Summary of the AGM by Pat Fortin. See the IDSF's website regarding the change in name to WDSF.
The WDSF DanceSport Academy together with the WDSF Professional Division present a workshop dedicated to the "Development of the Viennese Waltz".
The workshop is open to:
- all athletes,
- all holders of an WDSF Adjudicator and/or Chairman Licence,
- all holders of an WDSF National Member Body licence,
- coaches, trainers, observers and guests.
The workshop takes place on Monday 15 August at the Maritim Hotel (Reiterhalle) in Stuttgart. It starts at 18:00. The participation fee is 50 SFR (payable at the door). It includes the tutorial "Development of Viennese Waltz" and a coffee break.
Deadline for submission of the entry form by DSE is 1st of August.
All entries must be made through the WDSF Member Body. Please send yoru name, date of birth, address and contact details to the DSE Secretary by Thursday 28th July.
Semley studios are kindly offering their practice sessions for FREE to all DSE members from 12th September to 10th October.

World Youth 10-dance, Moldova: Matthew Dean & Sophie Webb 24th
Jonathan & Carolyn Huggett competed in the Wuppertal WDSF Senior 3 standard on July 1 and were placed 34 out of 105. They also competed on July 2 in the WDSF Senior 2 latin and were placed 13 out of 15.
Congratulations to Ben Jones & Kerry Dennehy and Ivans Lubenko & Helen Pearce who will represent England in the World Amateur Latin Championships in Singapore in September.
